» Return To News & Stories Index « RACE NEWS & STORIES This is a unique opportunity to race in Hyde Park around the Serpentine in central London to show off the skills and talents of scooter racing and be involved in the whole Tour de France build-up..... they expect many thousands of spectators.....! Entry to both races is FREE. Scooter 7KM RACE – 2 laps of the circuit - 12.40 (30 minutes total) Scooter 1KM SPRINT – as shown on the race map - 14.50 (15 minutes total) - Triangle Car Park (West Carriage Drive) Even more amazing, FREE accommodation [indoor camping!] is available on the floor of The Westminster School Boat House Function room at Putney [Westminster School Boathouse, Embankment SW15 1LB] 5 miles west from Westminster along the River Thames – click here to see Google map. Easy to take public transport from airports to central London (no bikes allowed on underground ‘tubes’). Easy to ride from railway stations or Victoria coach station to Hyde Park.
