Jim will start on the 2nd July 2005 at San Diego in California and finish in Jacksonville, Florida. Daily reports of the attempt will appear on the IKSA website (www.iksaworld.com). Who: Jim Delzer What: Scooter - Footbike - Tretroller - Roller - Autoped - Potkulauta - Kolobezka - Monopattino - Step - Trottinette (brand: Kickbike) When: Start - July 2nd 2005 (Coincides with the Tour de France.) Where: San Diego, California to Jacksonville, Florida (or vice-versa depending on weather patterns.) Why: To break the southern route (3827 km) record of 21 days 9 hours 57 minutes set on November 22nd 2001 by Dan Nielsen of Colorado (178.7km per day).
